Modern RV Resort Living in Arizona's Hidden Gem

Nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Black Canyon City, Rock Springs RV Resort offers a peaceful desert escape with upscale amenities and wide-open spaces. With easy access to I-17, our resort sits just 45 minutes north of Phoenix and one hour south of Sedona, making us a convenient over-night stop—or a beautiful long-term destination.

Ownership & Vision

Southwest Charm Meets Modern Comfort

Rock Springs is designed to reflect the spirit of the Southwest while providing the elevated comforts modern RV travelers expect. Whether you’re here for a weekend, a work-cation, or the entire snowbird season, you’ll feel right at home.

Our Story

A covered wagon is parked in front of the Rock Springs Café, which has a large sign and a pie illustration on its facade.

In 1922, the original Rock Springs Café opened its doors to miners and motorists navigating the dusty Black Canyon Highway. A slice of warm pie and a fresh cup of coffee became the unofficial welcome sign to the Bradshaw Mountains.

A hundred years later, Rock Springs RV Resort carries that same spirit forward—swapping horse-drawn wagons for Class A coaches and canvas tents for climate-controlled glamping suites. Yet the promise remains: friendly faces, wide-open spaces, and a place to recharge before the next leg of your journey.

our Location

Why Black Canyon City?

A person wearing a red hat and blue shirt hikes along a dry, rocky desert trail with cacti and distant mountains in the background.

Our 2,000-foot elevation gifts you cooler nights than Phoenix without the snow of Northern Arizona. Step outside your rig to panoramic Sonoran Desert vistas, then hop on I-17 for straight-line drives to Sedona (1 hr 15 min) or the Grand Canyon (2 hr 45 min).
